SCIENCE LABORATRIES
The gifts of science have added greatly to the dignity and sublimity of human civilization and science is often acclaimed as an angel of creative ideas.
It is to hone these creative ideas that the school has excellent laboratories of Physics, Chemistry and Biology; and enable the students to learn and bring knowledge of practical learning out of lab into the real world.
1. Physics Lab
Experimenting, Observing, Exploring, Inferring
It is an ultra modern lab named after great scientist Sir C. V. Raman, fully equipped with latest apparatus. It provide the much needed facilities to the students upto XII. Lab caters to the practical conduction of 50 students at a time. Lab also includes separate dark room for experiments of light.
2. Chemistry Lab
The well ventilated Chemistry lab named after “Acharya Prafful Chandra Roy” has the capacity of about 50 students to work at a time. The lab is also well equipped with all modern apparatus. All chemicals and salts are available in good quantity for all experimental requirements of the students. The Lab also prides itself of having a balance room for volumetric analysis. Under the guidance of their subject teachers and with the help of Lab assistants, students complete their projects and experiments smoothly.
3. Biology Lab
The spacious, well ventilated Biology Lab named after well know scientist “Jagdish Chandra Bose” fulfills the requirement of senior students for the study of nature and human anatomy. Keeping the latest syllabus in mind, various models, specimens, charts, chemicals etc. have been arranged well in laboratory itself. Besides, the lab is sufficient with other necessary assets such as hot-case, refrigerator and water bath etc. Teachers here shapeup the future doctors and scientists. The contribution of lab assistants is no less.
